PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Certain people associated with White Hawk Wealth Management may hold voluntary professional designations which are included on the website. An explanation of the minimum qualifications required for each designation follows:

Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)
To attain the right to use Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation an individual must have a bachelors degree with coursework in financial planning, pass a 10-hour exam, have at least three years’ full-time financial planning related experience, agree to be bound by CFP Board’s Standards of Professional Conduct, complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years and renew the agreement to be bound by the Standards of Professional Conduct. CFP® certification is a voluntary certification; no federal or state law or regulation requires financial planners to hold CFP® certification.

Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®)
An Accredited Wealth Management Advisor (AWMA®) is a financial advisor who has completed the educational requirements for the AWMA® designation and specializes in providing financial guidance to high-net-worth clients. Top financial firms across the country recognize the AWMA® designation, and designees are considered the foremost experts in wealth management

Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®)
A Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) is a financial professional focused on retirement planning. The CRPC® program is designed for new and experienced advisors who seek to define a “road map to retirement” for their clients. There is a focus on clients’ pre-and post-retirement needs and issues related to asset management and estate planning.

Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®)
An Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) is a designation for financial professionals who specialize in asset management and investments. Administered by the College for Financial Planning, a unit of the Kaplan Company, the AAMS® provides financial professionals with the extensive knowledge they need to assess and recommend a variety of investment opportunities.
